Aurora Company is one of the largest retail chains in Ukraine, with over 1800 stores and more than 10,000 retail employees (out of 16,000+ total employees)) across the country. To manage such a large workforce, the company used a custom-developed management system that was difficult to maintain at this scale. Rising costs of system maintenance and the need for more flexible tools prompted management to seek a modern solution.
Project objectives
The main goal was to implement a WFM system (workforce management system) that would automate the scheduling of work shifts for thousands of employees across stores, optimize access management, and significantly reduce operational costs.
