Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about Odoo
SAP is a powerful system for large corporations with a corresponding price: implementation starts at $200,000, duration is 1-2 years, and a separate team of SAP consultants is needed for support. Odoo covers 90% of the same tasks for medium and large businesses, but can be implemented in 2-4 months, costs 5-10 times less, and does not require certified SAP specialists for daily operations. If your company is not an international holding with thousands of employees in dozens of countries, Odoo provides a better ROI.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a good system, but it is deeply tied to the Microsoft ecosystem: Azure, Teams, Office 365. If you are already fully on Microsoft, this may be a logical choice. Odoo is independent of any vendor, has open source code, and does not tie you to a specific cloud provider. The Dynamics license ranges from $70-180/user/month depending on the modules, while Odoo Enterprise starts at $17.90. Additionally, Odoo has a significantly broader set of built-in modules: e-commerce, marketing, customer records - in Dynamics these are separate expensive applications.
NetSuite is a cloud ERP for medium and large businesses with a price range of $30,000-50,000 per year just for the license. Odoo offers comparable functionality at a significantly lower cost. The key advantage of NetSuite is its advanced international financial accounting for multinational companies. If your business is local or regional, Odoo will cover all needs without overpaying for excessive functionality.
Yes, for most manufacturing enterprises in Ukraine, it can. Odoo has a full-fledged manufacturing module: management of specifications (MRP), planning of production orders, quality control, management of work centers, tracking of batches and serial numbers. We have already implemented Odoo in enterprises with complex manufacturing processes as an alternative to SAP. The exception is very large enterprises with thousands of SKUs and very specific industry requirements (for example, nuclear energy or aviation).
Three reasons that set us apart: first, we specialize exclusively in Odoo - it is not one of dozens of products in our portfolio, but our only platform. Second, we have cases in unique niches - defense sector, healthcare, large retail (Aurora, 1800+ stores) - where most partners lack experience. Third, we understand the realities of Ukrainian business in wartime: power outages, mobilization, transition to remote work.
At the beginning of the project, we fix the scope, deadlines, and cost in the contract. We manage the project using a methodology with clear sprints and checkpoints - you see progress weekly, rather than receiving results after six months. If there are changes in scope, we agree separately, with no surprises in the bill.
The testing and acceptance of the system occurs in stages - you confirm each block before transitioning to production mode. After launch, there is a warranty support period. If new needs arise, we implement them within the framework of support or as a separate task. We are interested in long-term cooperation, not a one-time project.
After the project is completed, we offer several support formats: a package of hours per month for current issues and improvements, an SLA contract with guaranteed response times (from 2 hours for critical situations), or consultations as needed. You choose the format based on your needs and budget.
